Tour Schedule
Tour Day 1
Boppard & Rudesheim
The morning starts with a brief walking tour of Boppard, an ideal opportunity to get to know your home base for the next few days.  We then saddle up and head east towards the 'Gelbachtal', an unspoilt winding valley that's well known by local bikers for its beautiful landscape and bend after bend of sheer riding enjoyment.  We then follow the sweeps and curves of the Nassau National Park to Rudesheim, one of Germany's most popular tourist attractions.

Rudesheim sits on the banks of the Rhine and is famous for the vineyards that cling to steep slopes surrounding the town. The Asbach Brandy distillery is a firm favourite with visitors. The 'Drosselgasse', a narrow lane that boasts dozens of traditional German shops and restaurants, is also a popular draw. Outside the town centre is the 'Niederwald Monument' from where you'll have a panoramic view of the Rhine below.

Towards the end of the day we stop off at the Conquest Karting Centre. This indoor track is ideal for any budding Michael Schumacher and can prove to be a demanding and exciting experience (see if you can beat the track record).  The first race session is included in our tour price!

Tour Day 2
Cochem & Nurburgring
Our journey to Cochem begins with a ride through the glorious twists and turns of the beautiful Hunsruck region of Germany, an area any serious biker will enjoy discovering. An exhilarating riding experience takes us down to the Mosel Valley and along the picturesque river road to our first stop of the day.

The old medieval town of Cochem is a magnet for motorcyclists.  Reichsberg Castle dominates the whole area from its hill-top perch, and overlooks the cafes, bars and restaurants of the river promenade.  After leaving Cochem we weave through the lush forests of the 'Eifel' as we make our way towards the Nurburgring.

The world famous Nurburgring - Nordschleife is a circuit you can ride with your own bike. One lap is an amazing 13 miles long with more than 70 bends to challenge your riding skills (you can also watch from one of the many free viewing areas).  See a hot lap on our Video Clips page.  Other attractions include the brand new 'Ring Racer', claimed to be the world's fastest roller coaster, and a large interactive motor museum.

If you choose to ride the Nordschleife, your tour guide can give you some expert advice, safety information and other top-tips, making the experience all the more enjoyable.

Tour Day 3
Trier
The day's tour starts with a breathtaking ride along the Middle Rhine Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and famous for its outstanding natural beauty.  We also pass the Loreley Rock, where according to local legend an enchanting maiden lured navigators to their doom!

Our route continues on the superb quality roads that snake through rural countryside above the Rhine Valley.  We then take a well-earned rest at the charming town of Trarbach, to take on refreshments and admire the scenery, before resuming our ride to Trier.

Trier has many remarkable Roman monuments that are still largely intact.  The Porta Nigra (Black Gate), the Roman Bridge, Constantine's Basilica and the Roman Amphitheatre are all well worth a visit.  Trier is also a modern, thriving city with a large student population.  The market square has a lively atmosphere, its wealth of beautiful architecture makes it one of the most striking squares in the whole of Germany.

On our return trip we ride some magnificent roads, including a short section of de-restricted autobahn, ideal for those wishing to blow away any cobwebs!

Tour Day 4
Remagen & River Cruise to Koblenz
We set off in the morning and head north-east towards the Westerwald National Park. The Westerwald is a low mountain range that's covered in thick forests and dissected by the kind of roads biker's dream of.   We zigzag through its awesome loops and undulations before riding down to the picturesque town of Linz.

Following lunch in Linz we cross the Rhine and ride the short distance to the site of the Ludendorff Bridge in Remagen. This was the only bridge across the Rhine to be captured intact by the allies at the end of World War 2.  We then head back to Boppard along an impressive route through the 'Vulkan Park' (a still active volcanic region).

Once back at the hotel there's time to relax before your late afternoon river cruise to Koblenz.  You'll find there's plenty of facilities on board the ship to make the 1½ hour cruise as enjoyable as possible.  You might choose to take advantage of the restaurant and bar, or just sit back and admire the splendour of the Rhine Valley as you wind your way to Koblenz.

On arrival, you can explore the beautiful city of Koblenz at your own leisure (we will arrange return transport back to your hotel).  A great way to round off your holiday, and amazingly, it's all included in the tour price!
